Since we are dealing a lot with the World Wide Web, I thought it would be a good idea if I can share to you some points on how to maximize your experience with it. So let me discuss with you a very popular browser, the Google Chrome.
Did you know that Google's Chrome browser was built to allow us (Internet users) to test their new operating system project called the Chromium OS? The project team used it to check for possible bugs so as they can get rid of them on Chromium OS. On its first beta release it was used by more than 10 million active users(source: Official Google Blog) worldwide and since then, it has became a household name on the Internet. Kudos to Google for doing a great job!
Now why do people love this browser? We'll, aside from giving away free downloadable copies of Angry Birds, Google Chrome is very simple to use and fast. It opens up fast and it loads pages fast. And the browser is widely supported by developers all over the world producing handy additional tools for free. I'll share to you some of them as we move on.
Google search works directly within the browser! This unique feature is called the 'Omnibox'. You don't have to hit Google.com to find anything. Simply type anything that you want to find on the address bar and voila! It gives you the results from Google search.

Chrome saves your frequently visited page and brings them to you like an icon from your desktop the next time you open the browser.
CTRL + T and open a new tab to go to another website. You do not have to go back to your desktop and open another Chrome.

Check out the web store for more free tools that you can add to your Chrome. Follow this link or go to chrome.google.com/webstore. There are different categories such as games, entertainment, productivity, social communication and so on.. Just run through the categories and you'll find a lot of free stuff that can increase your productivity. Apps such as offline dictionary.

Which gives you the ability to to use an offline dictionary based on Wiktionary directly on chrome, with or without having an Internet.
Or you can try aToDo.
Which helps you remember the tasks that you need to finish.
I'm fund of games. And my personal favorite is Cargo Bridge which is fun. This game is about three things, the worker, the bridge, and the cargo. The worker's job is to fetch the cargo without falling of the cliff while your job is to build a sturdy bridge that makes the worker cross the bridge and fetch the cargo. You should try it! (Show pictures below)
It's easy to add an App on Chrome. Just choose the one that you like then click Add to Chrome, and there you have it on your App directory.
Chrome complies well with the Internet standards of displaying web pages -- which is one good reason why most developers love it. And it also adapts the latest improvements on the web. The latest version of Chrome already supports CSS3 and HTML5 so as to bring more stunning graphics, animations, and interactivity to its users. Chrome currently ranks second to Mozilla Firefox on a survey for widely used browsers (source: w3schools) and gathered 30.5% as of september 2011. They accomplished that in just 3 years!

Google both created Chrome and Android OS. But why is Chrome missing on Android-enabled devices? Chrome and Android have different teams working within Google. Each team caters to a different industry and a different market of users. Android for mobile and for mobile users, whereas Chrome for desktops and desktop users so the approach would be totally different. But still, Android OS has its own browser called the Android browser and uses the same engine that runs Chrome.
Aside from more usability improvements, Chrome is leaning towards the future of the web by providing more support for HTML5 and CSS3. So you should see more stunning websites displayed on Google Chrome in the next few months. The web is just becoming more exciting isn't it?
